Renovation is an interesting activity. Sometimes, it is hard to believe the changes we see. This factor of unbelievable change is why my team members enjoy working on our projects. These changes makes the customer feel a value of money and ensures customer happiness. We can look at the changes in this home with the help of plan, old videos and latest videos. This is also a renovation of an aged home. There was a strong home in the front and an extended kitchen with sheet roofing to the back. When we extend the home by retaining the existing building in the front, there is a fear of lack of lighting inside the home. We have removed that by using this stair room. This helps in ensuring lighting in the home from the front as well providing privacy to the living room from the drawing room. Since this staircase was in the new parts, we could avoid breaking the old slabs.
The pergola and shoe rack is to prevent hitting the head on the beam when someone moves from the old car porch to the sit out. The sitout can function as a drawing room by enlarging the old sitout and providing seating spaces. The spacious drawing room had a pillar in the centre. With the help of a new steel structure packed with concrete, we made this beautiful. Combining the two small rooms, we constructed a new room and an attached toilet. There is space for parking the car and waiting area for the patients after dismantling the old stair case in front of the consultation room. We used V board as false ceiling for the tile profile sheets to make the porches attractive. We dismantled all the parts with cracks and weakened areas of the old building.
The common toilet is provided to include a maid room in this spacious living room if the need arises. If we concentrate more on the planning, we can construct beautiful toilets with less than 1m width. The rails of the staircase makes the living room extra beautiful. The pergola and windows above the stairs ensure proper lighting inside the home. The kitchen has slabs on three side and has a narrow walking space. We have included a work area and a utility space.
We have introduced a wider bedroom with a dressing area and toilet by adding more area to the small bedroom in the old building. There was an old bedroom and library upstairs. We combined a staircase, a bedroom and toilets to it. Now, this is a beautiful and spacious home with four bedrooms. We are happy to have adhered to our corporate purpose in this sweet home too.
